What is Natural Language Search?
Natural Language Search concerns understanding users’ natural search expressions (made via typing or by voice) rather than matching keywords with potential results. Natural Language Understanding is also used in chatbot development to recognize the intensions of users.
What is Semantic Search?
Semantic Search utilizes machine-learning algorithms to yield search results, search suggestions and related content. In contrast to other search methods, such as keywords search, it understands the intention and context of a query.

Our software is currently used by several dutch organizations, including the Dutch government and “Koninklijke Visio”, which is the main centre of expertise for visually impaired people.
Our users are divergent, but they all have the similar desire to provide their content in an accessible way. Mainly governmental organizations but also commercial companies that find accessibility important are amongst our users.
Can I use your software on-prem or as SaaS?
We currently offer the search software as SaaS only.
How long does it take to index my website?
Since we use machine-learning to provide intelligent searches, we need to scrawl your website’s content and index it. When this is done, our machine-learning algorithm will start training automatically, which can take up to 6 hours (depending on the amount of content). This is a one-time process.

The search software is language independent, which means it can handle every common language. Just a few examples are:

How long does implementation take?
Users can start using the search software within a day after signing up. The website is indexed on our side. After about 24 hours, this complex process is done. You only need to implement the software on your website. Someone who knows anything about websites can implement it in 10 minutes. If such a person isn’t available, we would be happy to help.
What content does Genius Voice find?
The software can find all kinds of web content. This might be a text somewhere on your website. It could also be the case that the answer to the user’s question is in a video; it will return the part of the video where the answer is. The more information there is in your data sources (website, internal documents), the higher the likelihood of finding an answer.
How can I use Genius Voice?
There are two ways:
- By using the search API you can provide search results to your website users, without having to run the software on your own. This decreases the required server capacity on your side.

How often does Genius Voice scan my website for new content?
The software automatically checks your website for updates once a day. It will “learn” the number of updates over a period of time, which will increase or decrease the update frequency.
